Some people are asking : « If something like an international public opinion is to come, what will be its language? its grammar? what will be the position of ISO, or UNICODE?” and so on.
I have not the beginning of an answer to such questions, but pointing my index (in fact, proposing a link) on such chinese blogs and webs like ziboy or leylop, I’d like to propose this formula: “ light moves of the soft power”.
Which sounds like the position 9 of the Yi King: Siao Tch’ou, in french “le pouvoir d’apprivoisement du petit”, in english (not canonical translation) “taming power of the little”.
Will they speak or think of their blogs as “chinese blogs” or simply as their own personal blogs?
What I feel is this idea of a specific touch: involvement and charm, maturity and ingenuity, modernity, know-how.
In one recent post, Leylop has said that she just had seen the film “L’auberge espagnole”.
The “Auberge espagnole” is a film of Cedric Kaplish about the life in Barcelona-Spain of students from different countries, granted by the european program “Erasmus”. In Aix-en-Provence (South of France), the others students call them “the erasmus”, meaning “the good time-having ones”.
Siao Tch’ou is not far, it’s close; it’s a touch.
Photoblogs are a part of this grammar of the international public opinion, and chinese photoblogs are fascinating.
Photos on photoblogs are not monuments, but momentums, life quotation marks, and, putting a link on these photos, marks on the marks, it seems as if you were yourself the photographer.
If you want to test the chinese touch, you can begin with ziboy, it seems me the best entry, with a lot of links, and don’t forget leylop.
